Twitter is a social website, Its like Myspace and Facebook. A lot of teenagers use it. Celebrities and adults use it as well. Twitter was created in 2006 by Jack Dorsey. Twitter has expanded worldwide and has about 300 million users as of 2012. On Twitter you can posts tweets. When you tweet you tell people what you are doing, where your going, or just having a friendly conversation with someone. So far no one has committed suicide over Twitter arguments, so it's a safe internet site. You can also let people know whats going on in your life, well that's if you want to. Twitter also gets people involved a lot it has activities and "Trending Topics". This means a specific thing is being talked about on Twitter a lot. People that have a Twitter get to express their opinions about that subject.
I have a Twitter myself. My friends in Parkway have Twitter Accounts too. I personally like Twitter a lot. I have the application on my phone. I interact with my friends on there when I'm not around them. I also know whats going on socially in the world by following celebrities such as Rick Ross, Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne. I have over 100 followers so a lot of people read my Tweets. People also retweet my tweets, this means they like what I said. Twitter is a fun and exciting website to be on. I enjoy it a lot.
