Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released on November 11th 2011. This game launch was the biggest in history! Call of Duty is on every game system such as the Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. A lot of people were excited for the game. When they heard about the release date, they started going to Gamestop and pre-ordering it. Pre-order means to buy or put in small deposits at a time, so when the game comes out you'll have already purchased it. This new Call of Duty has new gameplay, graphics, weapons, perks, and different types of matches you can do. You can play online against other people, The campaign mode alone, or special optic missions with a friend. The game is sixty dollars.

I have all the Call of Duty games. Even Modern Warfare. I got it the day it came out, and played it that same day. I enjoy it a lot. I play with my clan members or sometimes I just play alone. The graphics are nice, it looks realistic. The gameplay is great. The only thing I dislike about the game is that it lags sometimes. I'll run behind a wall, and still get shot. Other than that the game is good. I am good in it as well, i'm on level 53. Celebrities play Call of Duty also. I think this is the best Call Of Duty game out so far. Online gameplay is cool, no one hacks and the people who use their bluetooths are friendly. The game overall is a nice game.

Twitter is the New Site

Twitter is a social website, Its like Myspace and Facebook. A lot of teenagers use it. Celebrities and adults use it as well. Twitter was created in 2006 by Jack Dorsey. Twitter has expanded worldwide and has about 300 million users as of 2012. On Twitter you can posts tweets. When you tweet you tell people what you are doing, where your going, or just having a friendly conversation with someone. So far no one has committed suicide over Twitter arguments, so it's a safe internet site. You can also let people know whats going on in your life, well that's if you want to. Twitter also gets people involved a lot it has activities and "Trending Topics". This means a specific thing is being talked about on Twitter a lot. People that have a Twitter get to express their opinions about that subject.

 I have a Twitter myself. My friends in Parkway have Twitter Accounts too. I personally like Twitter a lot. I have the application on my phone. I interact with my friends on there when I'm not around them. I also know whats going on socially in the world by following celebrities such as Rick Ross, Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne. I have over 100 followers so a lot of people read my Tweets. People also retweet my tweets, this means they like what I said. Twitter is a fun and exciting website to be on. I enjoy it a lot. If your reading this and don't have a Twitter, i recommend you make one.

Soulja Boy Rises To The Top

 Soulja Boy is a famous rapper from Atlanta Georgia. Soulja Boy was born on July 28th 1990. Soulja Boy started to rap in 2005. In September of 2007, Soulja Boy came out with a song called "Crank That". The song made number one on the Billboard top 100. Soulja Boy came out with a lot of songs that rose to the top of the charts. Many people did not know about Soulja until 2010. In 2010 Soulja Boy dropped his album called "The Deandre Way". A lot of people bought his album. Soulja Boy has had beef with many rappers such as Ice T, Bow Wow, and Fabulous. He even dissed the U.S. army in one of his songs! Soulja Boy was really recognized when he dropped a mixtape called "Juice". Soulja got his idea from the movie "Juice" starring Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps. Soulja Boy has a mansion, he owns his own group call SODMG Money Gang. He also has his own group called Ocean Mobb. Soulja Boy has a diverse fan base. He also has over 3,000,000 followers on Twitter! Soulja Boy has a brother, he youngest brother died in a car crash in 2007.

Soulja Boy is my favorite rapper. He has swag, he can rap, dance, and act! Soulja seems like he has a nice life. He has a lot of girls, friends he hangs with everyday, he's also rich. Soulja smokes about 30 blunts a day and plays nothing but the Xbox 360. I know all of Soulja Boy's songs by heart. I think people hate on him because, he got famous at the age of 15 and became rich in 2 years. I would personally live my life like that if I could.

Penn State Sex Scandal

Lately there has been news about Penn State. Jerry Sandusky used to be a football coach for Penn State University. He later then retired from a football coach, and worked as an assistant football coach. His boss was Joe Paterno. Jerry also played for Joe Paterno as a defensive end for two years. Joe Paterno was fired because he knew about the whole situation. It has been believed that Jerry sexually abused 10 boys over 10 years. In November 2011, Jerry Sandusky was charged with 40 counts of sexual abuse. On November 5th in 2011, Sandusky was arrested for raping children. An assistant coach named Mike McQueary walked in on Sandusky raping a young boy. Mike said he told Joe Paterno and Paterno told his boss, but no one did anything about it. On November 6th, Jerry was banned from Penn State campus. On November 10th, teenagers and adults messed up Sandusky's house. On December 7th 2011, Jerry was arrested again for more counts of sexual abuse. He can go to jail for life if he is convicted of the charges on his court date.

 I think Jerry Sandusky should have been arrested for raping those little kids. It was also a good idea, to ban him from the Penn State campus because he might have tried to do it again. I don't think it was fair for firing Joe Paterno. He did what he had to do and told his boss, there was nothing else he could have done to stop this. Joe Paterno should have kept his job, it isn't like he did not try to stop Jerry. They should have let Joe Paterno keep his job and Jerry should stay in jail for the rest of his life.

Biggest Story Of 2011

  Osama Bin Laden was the man behind the "9/11" terrorist attack. He was also the leader of Al Qaeda.  Osama was killed on May 1st 2011. Barack Obama said this was the "most significant achievement to date."Osama was found at a compound in Pakistan. The U.S. soldiers watched over the compound and when they thought the time was right, the killed him. Osama was shot twice. Bin laden was buried in the sea within the 24 hours he was killed. They buried him so fast because it's apart of the Islamic tradition. The 9/11 attack was the biggest in U.S. history. Bill Clinton and George W. Bush tried to take out Osama BIn Laden but both while they were presidents. Obama celebrated Osama's death with a dinner and playing golf.

  I think they should have killed Osama Bin Laden because what he did was unnecessary. The american people did not do anything to him. Osama killed over 2,700 people died in the 9/11 attack. Osama could have been planning another attack like this but he is now dead. Now that he is dead, I think Osama's people or followers will plan another attack to try to kill more people of America. Maybe the people of Al Qaeda will stop with the violence because their leader is dead. The war is not over but the man that controlled his army is now dead. They were just going to capture him, but he started to fire so the U.S. troops fired back. I think this story is the biggest of 2011 because it was on the news for weeks.

Pizza Delivery Man Killed

  On January 3rd 2011, A 29 year old pizza delivery man was shot and killed. Anderson lives in Chester. He was shot in his back and leg around ten o' clock. His name is Ronald Anderson and he works at Hot Spot Pizza on 70th and Elmwood street in Southwest Philadelphia. Before he worked there, he worked at Pete's Pizza. The store that he worked at was closed down on Wednesday because it was around the corner from the murder scene. This crime was pronounced as a robbery, the killer was believed to escape with only a few dollars. He was rushed to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, from severe bleeding. His vigil was held on Wednesday January 4th 2011.

  I think this crime is sad and unnecessary. All the man was doing was trying to help someone else out by bringing them food and he was killed. I personally believe this was a setup, it's no coincidence that the pizza man and the killer were on the same block at the same time. "Ronald was a husband and a father, that harmed no one and never complained about anything." Anderson has a daughter and three step children. The people who did this should be found and arrested because he didn't do anything wrong. They gave him a phony address and when he got there, they gunned him down.
